Hardwood Flooring Store Celebrates 43 Years in Business!

Hard to believe it but it has been over 43 years since The Hardwood Flooring Stores first opened for business. A lot has changed since the 1970s, people’s tastes have changed, materials have changed and the business of flooring has expanded to markets across the globe, but the one thing that The Hardwood Flooring Stores refuse to change is the way they treat their customer.

Established in 1977 by Ron Ander, as a clearinghouse for the two leading Canadian hardwood flooring manufacturers at that time, The Hardwood Floorings Stores has grown to become Canada’s largest supplier of hardwood floors to the public. Since then the Ander family has helped over 100,000 people and businesses to find the right flooring for their needs.

Over the decades The Hardwood Flooring Store has had to adapt to changing demands from its customers and changing styles but its commitment to quality products has never wavered. The Hardwood Flooring Stores goal from the outset was to partner with reputable manufacturers of hardwood flooring products from around the world. From Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia it is The Hardwood Flooring Stores priority to only deal with manufacturers who have a solid reputation of making quality products. This commitment is doubly important as many manufacturers, especially those out of China that have been recently exposed as selling products that contain harmful chemicals and are sourced from illegally harvested wood. The Hardwood Flooring Stores have done everything in their power to remove those products from its stores and ensure their customers only receive the best products.
